Abstract

Decision.Help is an advanced online decision support system currently being developed at Leeds. It offers an intuitive and user-friendly implementation of SURE, a Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis method that allows for uncertainty. The platform is designed to assist users in making well-informed decisions, whether it's choosing a car to buy, selecting a holiday destination, finding a flat to rent, deciding on a job offer, or even making significant corporate investment decisions.

In this session, we will provide a brief introduction to the project, followed by a live demonstration showcasing the tool's capabilities and user interface. We welcome any feedback on (i) the interface and usability, and (ii) potential research avenues and the data required for them. We believe that the new tool will open up exciting research opportunities, such as understanding how individuals conceptualise decisions, generate alternatives, and re-evaluate their choices, among other aspects.

We greatly appreciate your attendance and input on how the tool could be used.
