New KTP project: LLM-enhanced decision support system for the sustainable packaging sector

A new Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) has been awarded to SR Mailing and our academic team, Prof. Barbara Summers (academic lead), Dr. Peizhi Shi (academic supervisor), Dr. Xingjie Wei (academic support) and Aritad (Alan) Choicharoon (academic support).

SR Mailing Ltd is a pioneering company in the sustainable packaging industry. Since 2014, it has specialised in providing eco-friendly packaging solutions, with a primary focus on e-commerce businesses. By maximising the use of recycled materials, SR Mailing Ltd helps reduce waste and lower carbon emissions, supporting the shift toward more sustainable production practices. In this innovative project, Barbara, Peizhi, Xingjie, and Alan will lead efforts to incorporate cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Model (LLM) techniques into SR Mailing Ltd systems. The collaboration aims to establish LLM-enhanced data analytics, customer relationship management, and operational optimisation for sustainability, contributing to broader economic and environmental impacts. The integration of AI/LLM technologies is not just poised to enhance decision-making within their management, marketing, and sales teams and drive market expansion, but also aims to put SR Mailing into a sector-leading position in AI-enhanced decision support.
