Sarah Jenkins has been awarded funding to work with the Risk Unit at the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS). She will primarily be working on the monitoring, development and evaluation of PRISM – the new product risk assessment tool for supporting product safety practitioners. She will also be conducting research on hazard predictors and their relation to product features, to inform better product safety targeting. This will be a 12-month project running until January 2024, in partnership with OPSS and the Department for Business and Trade.
